During the month of November, we celebrated our Veterans. The day before Veteran’s Day our school showered those able to attend with breakfast and a celebration for them and all veterans serving present and past. Our 4th and 5th grade choir were able to sing to our Veteran’s at school and then the following Saturday at Somerset Mall. It was so moving seeing all the shoppers and watchers stop and stand for recognition of service. This program always moves me to tears with how beautiful it is.
My class also enjoyed our school year’s first snow. It was coming down really heavy and this made inside recess the most enjoyable for them to watch. They can’t wait for a big snow day.
