The month of October is always exciting for our students at Girdler Elementary! It’s the start of a new season, fall break, Halloween, and our favorite Pioneer Days!
To kick the first week of October off, our Family Resource Center planned an entire week of exciting activities to get our students involved. We learned to make butter like in the pioneer days, dress up as a pioneer, and experience the music of the pioneer days.
Our entire school participated in these activities and had an amazing time! As one student said, “Being a pioneer is awesome!”
