Old Fashioned Day

One thing I love and that has become a tradition at my school year is our annual “Frontier Day.” We always do this in the fall right before the annual “Daniel Boone Festival” held in our Knox County home. On this day, students and teachers are all encouraged to dress as Indians or pioneers, and they learn a little about our history. Students listened to historical stories, ate fry bread, watched someone make homemade butter as well as ate it with their cornbread, made a craft, and played some games. Students enjoy this day so much and it was a great time! Below are some of my wonderful colleagues who helped make this day possible and a picture of our day.
