To kick off our Romeo & Juliet unit, 8th grade students participated in an interactive Gallery Walk. This is designed to build curiosity, spark discussion, and encourage critical thinking. Students rotated through stations featuring images, quotes, and key themes from the play, working collaboratively to make predictions about the story before opening the text. Engagement was high, conversations were thoughtful, and students demonstrated strong analytical skills as they shared ideas and insights. This exciting introduction helped set the stage for a deeper understanding of Shakespeare’s timeless tragedy!
