November 11, 2025 a special day to honor our veterans was put on hold thanks to mother nature. Our student-led Veterans Day program was present to the school on November 12, 2025 for our students and distinguished guests, the veterans. We had fourth and fifth grade speakers and a 5th research project about the United States Armed Forces (completed with the librarian). With help from the Art teacher, veterans were greeted with posters and cards. Our music teacher helped to provide songs during our K-2 and 3-5 programs.. Poems were read and a token of appreciation for the vets were passed out. A slideshow showed off some of our special veterans. What a proud time to be an American and teacher!
