Shopville Elementary recently had Career Day at school. The students got to dress up as a future career they wish to have and we had a variety of speakers come and talk to the students about their jobs. The students dressed up like teachers, vets, nurses, presidents, army and lots of others. The booths consisted of employees from the County Clerk’s office, National Guard, 911 Dispatch, Prairie Farms, SRM Concrete, Performance Foods, Quest Counseling, Pharmacy, GatorMade trailers, National Park Service with drones, and a bank.
The students loved all the booths and hearing about all the different types of jobs or careers that are out there. It was a fun and exciting event.
