Our Knox Middle students have been actively engaged in many history projects and activities this school year. The 6th grade Gold team researched and constructed Native American and Pioneer shelters. They put their projects on display at the annual Daniel Boone Festival for the community to view. They also won 2nd place for their creative designs. The 6th grade Gold team also participated in the Mummy Wrap challenge during their study of Egypt. They enjoyed wrapping a team member in toilet paper in a given amount of time. The 8th grade students organized and presented the first annual Veterans Day program that included guest speakers and their own presentation of war events throughout history.
