Preschool students have been learning about pets as part of their unit titled “Discover Animals.” To give students more information about pets, we invited our local vet, Dr. Tammy Smith, to our preschool. She talked about pets, showed x-rays, and even brought her dog, Lamont. Our students loved Dr. Tammy’s visit and the information she shared. We love when community helpers make time to visit our classrooms!
