This season, our students experienced the true meaning of community as they received Christmas gifts generously donated by Save the Children. As part of our ongoing civics work, students have been learning how organizations and community partnerships support local families and strengthen civic life. This project became a real-world example: students explored how nonprofits identify needs, mobilize resources, and serve communities — and then saw that civic action in motion as gifts arrived for our school. We’re grateful for the partnership and proud of our students for connecting their civics learning to the people and programs making a difference every day.
