Central Elementary’s 5th Grade students recently enjoyed an exciting trip to the Kentucky State Capitol in Frankfort, where they explored Kentucky history and learned how our state government works. Students toured the Capitol building, saw the House and Senate chambers, and learned how laws are made. They also discovered interesting facts about Kentucky’s past, including important historical figures and symbols of the state. The visit brought their social studies learning to life and gave students a firsthand look at our state government in action.
